I returned this time to dine in and was lucky to get my previous server Annette who is absolutely amazing. The portions are large. Pictures I have the Greek Omelet that took up half the plate. Dining outdoors to people watch and Annette and the other staff members came out to check on me frequently. Highly recommend giving them a try on a weekday when they are not quite as busy.

I visited for breakfast early on a Friday and was seated immediately. Our server was exceptionally friendly, guiding us to our table and mentioning we had arrived just in time before the rush. She was right--about 30 minutes later, a crowd had formed outside! The interior is a bit dim and seems to be undergoing some construction, but this didn't detract from the experience. While it may not be one of those trendy, aesthetic spots, it exudes a cozy charm. I opted for the Poutine Tots, a dish I hadn't encountered before, and it was absolutely delightful. The tender barbacoa, combined with the kick from the jalapeños and the creamy queso sauce, created a perfect harmony of flavors. The crispness of the tots added a wonderful texture, completing the dish beautifully. I think I've discovered my new favorite breakfast spot in Long Beach!

Cafe was busy but understandable. Our server was super helpful and got us our food in no time. Food was very good. I would definitely come back again if I was in the area. The place is under construction a little bit so be aware, they were still seating people as best as they can. Great place to grab a bite at.

Came here with some friends after a morning hike and was greeted by a cute little cafe and very friendly servers. It's a solid breakfast spot that is sure to satisfy your breakfast cravings and the portion sizes are quite filling. Will definitely come back here if I'm in the area!

I came here a few years ago. I forgot with who and I thought I wrote a review but I guess not. So I came here 19 days ago with a guy friend who wanted to thank me for walking his dog. I forgot what he got... a burrito? Or the Juan Wayne! I got the Huevos Rancheros! Crispy, savory, mouth watering and perfect amount of spice. I think I tried the country fried steak last time. (That's usually my go-to any breakfast place that has it.) Anyway, food and service were great! Parking is tricky so we parked up the block and walked down to the cafe. Dylan said it's one of his fav breakfast / brunch places! I'll be back, again! Thanks!

This place is pretty small, cozy, with both inside and some outdoor/streetside seating. I've eaten here a few times in the past 6 months, and overall it's been very good, with friendly and attentive service. On my last visit I had Virginia Country Club sandwich, add avocado, with fries (good seasoned fries, sando was good but not double decker, better than some others in the area, but not mindblowing). My lady had a nice shrimp and chorizo omelette (big & hearty, great flavor, with spinach and cheese, and a generous side of tater tots). She's also enjoyed the shrimp Lorraine omelette. My go to has been the Juan Wayne Mexican style egg breakfast, has a nice kick to it.

Cute place for breakfast. Parking is a little hard since its near the street but not too hard to find space if you there early. The food is good and tasty, the coffee is also good. Great service too. Definitely has a lot of option on the menu to try next time.

I was in the area for work and decided to give this place a try. I wanted to place my order before arriving but their phone was not working. Based on that alone, it is a deduction of a star. I arrived with a colleague and informed them we were on a tight schedule and needed to order quickly and will take the check with our food. Location is definitely small and unsure if it has AC as it was very warm around noon. They had ceiling fans to circulate the air but it was still quite warm. We both ordered sandwiches and fries and the food was good. Portions were decent. We would have enjoyed ourselves more and felt more relaxed if they would have had their phone on the hook to take calls so we could have placed an order. Food was decent. If I can call and place an order for take out, I will. If their phone isn't working, I would eat some where else.
